- Woodinville, the gem of the Sammamish River Valley, extends into the hills above the river in densely wooded housing developments and breweries, wineries and other-use farmlands. Agritourism gives visitors hands-on experiences at the wineries as they explore the scenic valley. Great open spaces as well as developed sports fields, parks and trails invite residents to get outside year-round.
- Outdoor public art displays provide creative energy among the parks that line the river, and summer events such as the outdoor Summer Concert Series at DeYoung Park and outdoor movies at the Redhook Brewery celebrate the warmer, sunnier weather. The Woodinville Lights Festival runs the length of December, while the Annual Basset Bash Parade and All Fool’s Day Celebration in April welcome Springtime.
- “Northwest’s Woodland Character” was never more evident than in the spectacular town of Woodinville.
