- Mill Creek is part of a newer area in Snohomish County, established in 1983 as a golf course community, yet it holds onto the small town flavor. Residents are attracted to the variety of housing types and prices and the nine parks, a sports park, and 23 miles of scenic trails, which offer a spate of recreational opportunities and green space.
- The Town Center retail and commercial district maintains the small town feel with wide sidewalks lining Main Street, spacious plazas and ample shopping and dining sites.
- Events run from the traditional egg hunt in the spring (with 15,000 eggs!) to the Flashlight Egg Hunt in the middle school gym for teens. A Japanese Ikenobo group offers free flower arranging classes each June. And in July, the 3 on 3 Main Street Madness Basketball Tournament precedes the Mill Creek Festival with a free Children’s Concert and Performance Series. Back to the traditional, the Tree Lighting at City Hall in December is the perfect way to usher in the holiday season.
- Mill Creek – it’s a new area with an old town, neighborly charm.
