When we work together to help you purchase a home, I will provide you with a comprehensive road map that is custom-created for your particular situation. Your area, your timing, your wants and needs, and your financing will all be utilized in coming up with the perfect homebuying plan for you. Here is just a little of what to expect when you work with me:
Comprehensive Buyer Interview
First we will review your wants and needs. If you already know the areas you are interested in, I will provide you with education on those area, commutes, schools, and amenities.
I will also explain the home buying process in depth (see the chart to the right), market trends, and outline our different strategies.
If securing a loan is part of your plan, I will provide you with different loan options as well as the pros and cons of each. You can also read more about mortgage options here.
From there, we will discuss the creation and implementation of your unique home buying road map.
We will review the various search tools available to you and make a plan for collaboration, and a personal buyer search tool.
When listings are available that are a good fit for your criteria, we will schedule a time to see the home in-person. My flexible scheduling option can incorporate nights and weekends. When you find a home that you want additional information on to write an offer, I will provide you with comps (comparable properties), data, and neighborhood information.
There are a number of team members that we may call upon to complete your transaction. From reputable lenders with proven industry track records, property inspectors, and other housing needs (such as carpet installers, handymen, painters, contractors, etc), my relationships can be put to work for you!
Accessibility and Guidance
I make it a priority to be available by phone, email, and text with quick response times. I will also provide guidance and information throughout the entire transaction (and even beyond) as well as strategies for securing a home in any market. My negotiation skills are top notch and I am dedicated to working with the listing broker, looking for those win-win solutions.
Beyond the Offer
There will be additional negotiation points between mutual acceptance and closing. Rest assured I will continue to negotiate on your behalf and provide my problem-solving expertise. I will present you with a customized contract calendar with pertinent information and deadlines so you always know where you are in your transaction. I will also stay in touch with all the transaction team members including the listing agent, lender, escrow, title, and others and will also coordinate the key exchange.
