- Where two rivers meet in front of the Cascade Foothills and irrigate fertile farm soil, the town of Carnation sprang up. But don’t let the bucolic nature of this region fool you – there is a lot going on here besides a nice downtown shopping area.
- The Camlann Medieval Village, a living history museum project, and Camp Korey at Carnation Farmjertoos Farm provide visitors with hands-on activities recalling village life during pre-industrial times. The Vincent Schoolhouse and Oddfellows/Eagles Hall showcase charming architecture and are still in use for community events.
- Plenty of outdoor recreation abounds in Carnation, with hiking, biking, camping and fishing facilities nestled in the scenic splendor.
- Local produce and artware are featured from Spring to Fall at the Carnation Farmer’s Market. Hot Rods and Harleys rally and live music plays during the Great Carnation Fourth of July Celebration, and the summer ends with a harvest festival honoring the region’s agricultural heritage.
